Breakthroughs

There are moments in life when you pause, look around, and say, “Thank You, God. Won’t He do it?” Those moments fill your heart with gratitude, and it feels like you’ve reached the summit. But what if that wasn’t the summit? What if you were still climbing?

The truth is, blessings along the way can feel like the breakthrough, but they’re only glimpses of what’s to come. The true breakthrough isn’t just the temporary relief, the answered prayer, or the unexpected gift. It’s the activation—the moment when your faith collides with God’s purpose for your life.

A breakthrough is not the final destination; it’s the transformation. It’s stepping into a deeper covenant with God, where you and He walk hand in hand toward your calling. It’s a shift in dimensions, where life on the other side looks nothing like the life you’ve known. The breakthrough is the moment you step through the veil, leaving behind what once held you back and moving forward into divine alignment.

Let’s remember the ultimate veil—the one torn in two when Jesus gave His life. That veil separated us from God. But through His sacrifice, a new covenant was established. Jesus’ blood created a new way, shielding us with grace and mercy. It is through this veil that we step into true intimacy with God.

The flaming sword that once guarded Eden, the place where God dwelled among His creation, symbolized our separation. But through Christ, the way back was made clear. The breakthrough is not merely God dwelling in us but God dwelling with us—just as He walked with Adam and Eve in the garden.

Your breakthrough comes when you’ve trusted God through the fire, pushed through your doubts, and walked in obedience. On the other side is a new level of faith, purpose, and intimacy. It’s Eden restored—a place where God desires to dwell with you, not just as Creator but as your constant Companion.

Reflection Questions:

  1. What blessings in your life have felt like breakthroughs but were really just glimpses of God’s goodness?

  2. In what ways is God calling you to press forward in faith and obedience?

  3. How can you deepen your covenant relationship with God today?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the blessings along the way that remind me of Your goodness. Help me to trust You as I keep climbing, knowing the true breakthrough is not a moment but a transformation. Thank You, Jesus, for tearing the veil and making a way for me to walk with You in covenant. I desire to step into the fullness of Your purpose for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
